Topic: role in the game, skills, boost
Dragon is one of the key elements of the game, which is decisive for the outcome of the combat and defines the game account’s efficiency. It is used in all active actions on the map of the kingdom. The outcome of the combat depends in most cases on the presence or absence of the Dragon in the castle. Developing Dragon is the main task almost during the whole game.
If you have chosen Dragon skills in sections Attack, Defense, Gathering and Monster correctly and developed them in the right order, your chances are much better both in Merlin’s Trials and in all types of combat.
Skills and their levels become available when the Dragon reaches higher levels. It’s important to invest skill points (Assault and Guardian) in functional skills.
At each stage there is a different set of Attack and Defense skills, which expands and becomes supplemented with the development of the Dragon. The Gathering and Monster sets of skills stay more or less standard.
The skill set described in this article provides the best possible combat features that the Dragon gives at your level of development. Each of these skills is always boosted to maximum, both in skill points and in Intensity Crystals. In this case you’ll get the most efficient result in the Dragon Trial in Merlin’s ship.
As you enhance the skills, more points will be required for the next level. That’s why you should invest only in important, really working skills. Most skills available to choose are completely useless as such. This article looks at the most important and useful of them. If your goal is to win, then this article is for you!
1. Dragon up to level 30
There are 4 active Dragon skills available for use
March of Fury (March Capacity), Flaming Arrows 2 (Damage: Bowmen vs Infantry), Infantry Backbone 1 (Damage reduction: Infantry vs Bowmen), Infantry Backbone 2 (Damage reduction: Infantry vs Cavalry)
The main goal is to make the biggest army march, to better attack Infantry with the most efficient troops and maximally protect your Infantry at the same time.
Intensity Crystals of the highest level are set as a priority on March of Fury, then on Infantry Backbone 1 and Flaming Arrows 1.
Only the main Dragon skills are chosen at this level. They will be developed and enhanced as much as possible during the whole game. It’s they as well that define the best result in Merlin’s Trials.
Flaming Arrows 2 (Damage: Bowmen vs Infantry), Dragon Blessing (Wounded Conversion), Infantry Backbone 1 (Damage reduction: Infantry vs Bowmen), Infantry Backbone 2 (Damage reduction: Infantry vs Cavalry)
At early stages in Defense the task is to avoid losses in the army and do the most efficient damage.
2. Dragon of levels 30-39
There are 6 skills available for assignment.
New active skills are Flaming Arrows III and Cavalry Claw:
The task is to increase the attacking features of Bowmen, add Damage against the enemy Infantry, go on enhancing Defense of your own Infantry.
Intensity Crystals of the highest level are set as a priority on March of Fury, then on Infantry Backbone I, Infantry Backbone II and Flaming Arrows I. If possible, enhance the Flaming Arrows III skill as much as you can.
New active skills are the same as in Attack: Flaming Arrows III and Cavalry Claw.
Enhancing Damage effect for the army on the defensive – Flaming Arrows III skill is added.
Intensity Crystals of the highest level are set as a priority on March of Fury, then on Infantry Backbone I, Infantry Backbone II and Flaming Arrows I.
3. Dragon of levels 40-44
There are 7 skills available.
New active skill is Cavalry Claw III:
The task is to add possibilities of Cavalry Damage against Bowmen. Boosting all the skills available from the previous levels will help you to complete Merlin’s Trial more successfully.
Intensity Crystals of the highest level are set as a priority on March of Fury, then on Infantry Backbone I, Infantry Backbone II, Flaming Arrows I, Flaming Arrows III.
4. Dragon of levels 45+
Maximum quantity of available active skills
New active skill is Dragon Blessing:
The task is to constantly boost levels of skills responsible for Bowmen Damage, Defense of your own Infantry and March Capacity. When you are able to assign all 8 skills, add Dragon Blessing to avoid unnecessary irrecoverable losses.
Intensity Crystals of the highest levels are set as a priority on March of Fury, then on Infantry Backbone I, Infantry Backbone II, Flaming Arrows I, Flaming Arrows III.
The last skill added to the Defense set is March of Fury. Its assignment here is to take more armies to back up the allies.
5. Gathering Skills
This group of skills can only be different depending on the resource that the player is focused on right now. It’s quite enough to have 2 active skills, which is available at the earliest stages of development.
As Gathering March with Dragon will be the biggest, you need to assign it to the resource building of the Alliance.
Priority for resource gathering:
The skills responsible only for resource gathering from plates on the map and mines of the Alliance. March of Fury, Beast of Burden, Resource Raider and the skill of gathering the resource that is needed for Dragon March are usually chosen.
This point is secondary, it goes after Combat skills, so it doesn’t influence the progress much. The best option for gathering with the Dragon March will be, of course, gathering in the resource building of the Alliance.
6. Monster Skills
It’s a set of skills for Combat with PvE, it includes such events as:
- Alliance Portal
- Fallen Knights
- Monsters on the map
- Various monsters from temporary events in the kingdom
A correct set of skills guarantees a better efficiency in PvE.While you complete the event, you should maximally develop these skills to show a good result, obtaining more rewards. The variety of skills is very narrow and is the same at all levels of the game.
Just as Gathering Skills, this group of skills doesn’t require a lot of skills. The best possible efficiency is reached by assigning only 4 skills available at early stages.
Skills priority for PvE:
March of Fury (March Capacity), Bowmen Rage (Bowmen Attack), Cavalry Rage (Cavalry Attack), Siege Rage (Siege Attack)
The task is to have the biggest possible march, maximum level of Bowmen and Cavalry Attack. If you use Siege Troops, then you should assign and develop the skill increasing their Attack. Yet you shouldn’t spend too much Assault points on this skill, as you need to save them for fast development without losing growth rates.
*Detailed information about tactics for completing PvE events will be given in the corresponding articles.
The Dragon develops daily and constantly. All sources that give Experience and Dragon Power are constantly directed at increasing its potential.
The best sources of Dragon Experience are:
- Magic Spire
You should buy 1,6 million Dragon Experience daily.
- Alliance Celebrations
All ceremonies that are held should be aimed at collecting Dragon Experience, as this is the fastest and most efficient source of boosting level.
Daily marches on Barbarians contribute to boosting the Dragon.
- Alchemist’s Crucible
Here you can transform Lord Experience packs of 5000, receiving points that can be spent on Dragon Experience packs of 100000 – it’s a beneficial exchange, especially at higher levels of development, when Lord’s level stops being relevant and the Dragon remains just as relevant.
Dragon Experience is always necessary, so you should from the very beginning direct all your efforts at its growth. Experience from Magic Spire is bought until Dragon reaches a new level, then you start buying Assault and Guardian Power till the skills reach the maximum.
The main efficient source of Assault and Guardian Power is the Magic Spire. When the Dragon reaches a new level, you should switch from buying Experience to buying the necessary Power to boost important skills to maximum. Marches on Barbarians will also help to increase skills. Quite a big amount of Dragon Power comes from their chests.
Barbarians also contribute to developing skills points. It’s not much, but in general it’s worth rallying them, gaining chests of prizes for all possible stamina.
3) Intensity Crystals
Crystals help to enhance skills features. Of course it’s better to have maximum enhancement for all skills, but it’s the most difficult part of boosting Dragon. You should constantly use all the sources available, collecting the best Crystals and increasing Dragon power.
You should daily buy things for resources. Sometimes there’s a deal with the Crystal of level 4 for wood. It’s the best option to get it relatively cheap.
- Hall of Champions
You can collect prizes every day for praising the champions. These are 6 Crystals of level 1 a day.
- Forbidden Labyrinth
By combating in the Labyrinth and defeating enemy spirits you can obtain a certain amount of Crystals of levels 1 and 2.
- Merlin’s Trial: Dragon
In the prize chests of this Trial you can find Crystals of levels from 1 to 5.
Apart from direct purchase in the game’s shop, you can buy emblems in Forbidden Labyrinth from the Undead Trader. In a special section of the trade you can see what emblems are on sale and when a new supply of emblems will become active. You should constantly purchase them.
If you have farms, you can buy emblems with the farms from the Undead Trader and transfer them to the main account by Alliance Exchange.
Emblems enhancement is carried out through transforming unnecessary emblems. The points left after this increase the level of the emblems used.
Re-assignment of skills and enhancements
Quite often players feel the need to reset skills points and Dragon stars to re-assign them.
There are different ways to do it:
- Lucky Shot
In the rewards sections “Dragon” or “Emblems” you can refresh rewards to the appearance of 3 Dragon Skill Resets. It’s obtained by 1-2 shots.
Only 1 Skill resets are available.
- Magic Spire
Here you can buy both 1 Skill Reset and All Skills Reset on magical crystals.
It’s a beneficial option, but it withdraws some potential from the general development.
- Alliance Store
Both types of Reset are available – of 1 skill or all skills at the same time.
This option is just as good as Magic Spire. If you have points, you can use it.
In the Skill menu itself you can make a general Reset for 1000 of gold, Reset of 1 skill for 200 of gold..
It’s a rather expensive option considering the value of gold. But if there is urgent need, you can use it.
- Lucky Shot
In the rewards sections “Dragon” or “Emblems” you can refresh rewards to the appearance of 2 Dragon Skill Enhancement Resets.
It’s obtained by 1-2 shots.
This is the only option to obtain Reset without spending gold.
In the Enhance Skills menu you can reset both 1 skill separately for 100 of gold and all skills for 500 of gold.
A powerful Dragon has considerable influence. It’s the cornerstone of the account development, adding a very important group of features – specialized Damages and protection against them.
Among other equal features and armies, the absence of the Dragon will be fatal.
With its help you complete Merlin’s Trial, which is more simply passed with a skilful boost and starts to give a lot of coins fast. It allows you to increase the rate of account development.
Being a basic part of the game, the Dragon should develop constantly and on a continual basis. This approach will lead you to more victories, bringing more satisfaction from the success achieved.
